Beyond Empathy
www.beyondempathy.org.au
Beyond Empathy works with innovative arts programs to reach the most marginalised young people in Australia who are often beyond the reach of more conventional welfare services.

Often these young people have nothing but their story. Through film, theatre, music, dance, multi media or visual arts, BE helps them to tell that story, build new skills , discover their potential to find and create new opportunities. The aim is to help these people move beyond what have often been life-long patterns of alcohol and drug abuse, homelessness and crime. Some of BE’s ‘graduates’ are now trainee cinematographers, web-site designers, magazine editors, artists, or community workers with the BE team. See Knot@Home in Case Studies for further information.
