Screen australiaScreen Australia, the Commonwealth Government screen agency provides support to Australian film, television, documentary and digital media makers. Through a range of funding programs Screen Australia provides development and production finance to feature films, television drama, documentary and innovation in digital media. Travel assistance is available to key international festivals. The Enterprise program supports production companies to grow and achieve business plans. The Producer Offset is a refundable tax offset (rebate) for producers of Australian films and television. It was introduced by the Australian government in 2007 to increase production and help the Australian industry grow by developing sustainable businesses.
