About the film
7th Floor - The Environment
We take a whole floor of a corporate office, and make them green for 1 month, and compare that with a similar floor – who are essentially 'business as usual'. At the end of one month, we then see how the company can replicate that globally, and estimate the savings possible.
Why changing company behaviour is more important more effective than changing households…- one floor in a corporation in a single year generate more carbon and waste than an individual household in 10 years…
This also helps to show how going green can be more easily and efficiently achieved done than at an individual household level - using corporate infrastructure, and what changes they are making and the costs/ benefits of these changes.

How does the project meet the aims of a philanthropic foundation?
Raises awareness and actually brings about an environmental exercise and saving that is leveragable and replicatable in a corporate environment - tapping into Corp Social Responsibility groups withing organisations, this documentary will assist in replication of this in other organisations.
What outcomes do you hope to achieve by making this film and how will you measure its impact?
Outcomes - enact and create a real environmental benefit in a corporation. Measure this impact, and then relicate it across the organisation. This real saving in Carbon can be measured.
As this program is shared with other companies, the impact will increase, and be measurable across many organisations.
What is your education and outreach strategy
TV and Internet release, followed by distribution through environmental groups, building owners, and reporting within corporations and annual reports.
Distribution to Corporate Social Responsibility Managers will also ensure the maximum leverage - who could then use this at Snr Management level to show the benefits and PR for corporate environmental savings.
