Feb 9, 2017 Selection for AIDC
Kimberley Project has been selected as one of only two projects for the competitive Impact Strategy Hack live pitch event at the Australian International Documentary Conference, at Melbourne's ACMI on Tuesday, March 7.

On the selection process, DAF CEO and Impact Strategy Hack juror Mitzi Goldman said:

“There are so many powerful films to be made and there has never been a more important time to share these stories.

“It was a very tough decision to get to the short list (which was quite long) and then to select two finalists. We need your stories and we are here to help you make change happen, so keep up the great work. Now is the time!”

Feb 2, 2017 Status Report
Kimberley Project is in the final stages of financing, ahead of April-May principle photography, which is why we need your help to close the film's small finance gap.

We have production investment from Screen Australia, ScreenWest and Screen NSW, as well investment from a respected international sales agent and domestic distributor. We also have letters of interest from various film festivals across Australia, North America and Europe, and are in advanced discussions with Impact Producers regarding our advocacy campaign and the non-traditional release.
