Hannah Zreikat
Hannah Zreikat graduated from the Melbourne Conservatorium in 2012 and has held numerous music and choral director credits in Melbourne and Ballarat. Zreikat founded vocal a cappella quartet Avina in 2005, and her composition achievements include the 2012 Esther Rofe Scholarship, 2nd place in the 2007 Chamber Strings of Melbourne Young Composer of the Year competition, and in 2014 the Ballarat Symphony Orchestra performed her Piano Concerto.

Laura Emerick
Laura Emerick hails from Panama. She was the former Director of the Panama Film Commission where she lobbied on behalf of the country’s film industry professionals for international and local co-production and funding opportunities.

Laura was a founder and President of the Academy Awards’ Best Foreign Language Film Committee of Panama and she is still a member, collaborating toward its recent development as the official organisation that oversees the nomination of Panamanian films for various international film awards. She has varied experience working at international film distribution companies, film productions and film festivals and is currently working at Palace Cinemas as National Festivals Production Coordinator. 

Musical Director
Kate Adam
Composer and performer with the marimba and vibraphone duo Invention in Time and the jazz/percussion group The Shala Ensemble. Kate has a Bachelor of Music from the Victorian College of the Arts in percussion and an Advanced Diploma in Jazz and Contemporary Music in flute from the Northern Melbourne Institute of Tafe.

Simon Polinski
Simon Polinski is one of the most innovative and creative recording engineers in Australia. His background as a working musician and composer has gifted him with the ability to connect with the music he is recording and allows him to not only shape the sounds accordingly but to have a clear overview of the production and arrangement. His enthusiasm and obvious enjoyment of the creative process makes for a very positive and relaxing environment to record in.

Simon is an Aria award winning producer, engineer and musician with over three decades experience in the music, film and television industry. Simon has taught sound design, mixing and production at NMIT Fairfield since 2005. He is an acknowledged expert in Protools, Logic Audio, Reason and many other popular recording platforms.

Simon has worked with hundreds of great local and international artists including The Church, Paul Kelly, Ollie Olsen, Stephen Cummings, Yothu Yindi, George Telek, David Bridie and Tim Finn.
